Inflation and Price Flexibility

Using UK consumer price microdata, we show that time-varying aggregate price flexibility induces significant non-linearity in inflation dynamics, with important implications for the transmission of shocks and the conduct of monetary policy.

An Endogenous Gridpoint Method for Distributional Dynamics

We develop a novel and efficient method that captures nonlinearities in the distributional dynamics of heterogeneous-agent models, allowing accurately higher-order solutions.
